That reminds me of the “horseshoe” (or the smaller edition, the “ponyshoe”) that I have eaten in Springfield and Quincy, Illinois.

Basically, it is a hamburger patty on half a bun or on a piece of bread with fries piled on top; then cheese, ketchup and/or other stuff is piled on top of that. Mmm–great stuff.
