By a remarkable coincidence this video was shown during a year group assembly at the school I teach at today in England; it's a school for girls and there were about 150 girls present. Before showing the video the teacher leading the assembly asked all the girls to close their eyes and in their head to count the number of body parts they don't like and would like to change. She then asked them to open their eyes and for those who didn't like 0 to 5 body parts to put up their hands... about five girls put their hands up. She then asked the same question for 6 to 9 body parts... about twenty girls put their hands up. Finally she asked the same question for ten or more... the remaining 120 or so put their hands up. These were 13-14 year olds and I don't think it was an untypical representation. It seems that almost every teenage girl has had her self-image shattered as she aspires in vain to look like someone who does not exist. Tragic!

Why bother even starting with a real model when you can just create her in Photoshop?

I am fortunate: my wife is beautiful whether she is wearing makeup or not. And she usually does not. That is what attracted me to her--her natural beauty. Her great smile and personality--and the fact she puts up with me--keeps me attracted to her.

Ana - I guess you could go to a department store's makeup area and have them "doll you up" to see.
