Report: Small Ass BBQ aka Hooters Happening in Atlanta

B&P correspondent D.J. filed the following report from Atlanta:

On Saturday 9/13, my son AJ & I drove 731 miles from Northern Ohio to a Hooters restaurant in the Atlanta area where we met Jessica, the most awesomest DAYUM hostess in the world…and lots of her charming girlfriends. The girls were DAYUM hot and the beer was DAYUM cold and the Georgia fans were DAYUM loud. And oh yeah…I happened to run into three guys you might’ve heard of…Infidel, Richard, and That Gene Dude. These guys are a lot of fun, and not as strange as you probably thought, and will be a bigass asset to the Big Ass BBQ, as a couple of us have pretty big DAYUM asses. A great time was had by all. And at the end of the evening, a couple of us were able to speak with Deborah out in Arizona. The next time I get through Hotlanta I’d certainly meet up with these guys again. Thanks to all three of you guys for a fun evening! (Don’t forget to send a BABBQ invitation to Jessica!)

Hoot1
Can you figure out who is who?

B&P correspondent D.J. filed the following report from Lantana:

On Tuesday 9/16, Paul left Boca and drove north and AJ & I drove south and we met in Lantana, Florida, where we enjoyed a relaxing, non-partisan lunch on an outdoor patio on the beach overlooking the warm Atlantic Ocean at the Dune Dock Cafe. (I think I spotted Revrick on a surfboard way out past the breakers.) Believe it or not, no president’s name was uttered and no health care issue was breached. (Notice he is standing to my left, though.) We may think differently on a few things, but we’re both B&Pers, so we just spent the afternoon talking about all the rest of y’all!! It was a pleasure meeting Paul in Boca in Lantana…just as I suspected he’s an interesting and and gracious man. Thanks for coming up to meet my son & I, Paul, and I hope to see you again next year at the BigAss BBQ.

Note:  If you can’t figure out which one is DJ, you have more problems than I thought.

What a great lookin’ bunch of gents!! I realize that most eyes will be on what is behind them but a very handsome group they are, including Paul in Boca. Great to hear that you had a wonderful time and had the opportunity to meet each other. You can certainly tell that AJ is your son DJ, as you both have the same kind eyes. I am surprised however that Infi’s head isn’t swivelled around in the other direction. LOL.

  • I’m shocked. In all this time I never even suspected that Infi was a black woman.

  • DJ,
Thank you for the kind words.
    Bella, kisses to you!
Maffu, you’d be even more shocked to know his name…
DJ, I promised, so don’t worry!

  • Jet

Glad a good time was had by all!

  • That Gene Dude

Infi a black woman?????And what a good looking black woman he was !!!!

  • Richard

No guesses yet? I’ll give you a clue. Infi is NOT wearing the Infiniti hat.

  • rtfgnow

I think infindel is on the far left, DJ opposite. Thats all I can tell.

  • I know, am I allowed to tell?

  • Gary

Paul, what is the beer you’re drinking, and is that a Gators tee?

  • Gary

DJ, man I hate that I missed you when you came through, but it sure is good to have you back on B&P.

  • revrick315

That wasn’t me on the surfboard. I was the one wearing the speedos with the large evesdropping dish over by the dunes. I had to make sure you weren’t being indoctrinated, you know. I didn’t hear anything bad, but I did pick up some great salsa music…

  • You can’t miss me I was the one not there!

    DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • DJ

Gary – Maybe next time, huh? There were only about a 12-15 able-bodied waitresses, and with infidel at our table, there weren’t enough to go around anyway.
    Hope everything’s ok.

Bella- Thanks, but AJ’s eyes actually dropped right out of the sockets whenever a waitress dropped a napkin on the floor. One of us actually wore glasses to keep that from happening. Smart move. And infi’s head doesn’t have to swivel. He just sits there and the girls come to him.

Revrick – That salsa music was Paul’s iPod. He cranked up his volume when mine automatically started blaring Limbaugh at noon. And please don’t remind us about the Speedos, ok? We were trying to digest.

Maffu – It would all have been clear to you if you’d have been there. I’m trying to figure out how I can drop in to your local pub on my next drive!! (See below)

  • DJ

Trying to post a pic for Maffu, but it’s not working.

  • DJ

Mike – We noticed. All the girls asked about you. We told them you got married that morning to a large redheaded member of the Temperance Society of Georgia.
I thought about you when we stopped for gas at exit 16 at about 9.30 Sunday morning, but after looking around hopefully for a few minutes, I had to buy my own DAYUM cup of coffee.

  • Richard

O.K. You have had long enough. From the left, it’s Gene, Infi, me, AJ and DJ. And I think that the girls were named Buffy, Bambi, Beulah, Bertha, Bella, Bitsy and Ophelia.

  • Gary,
That was an Amstel Light, and, no, , that was not a Gators shirt. I would rather shove bamboo sticks under my fingernails than support anything Gator. Or even let a conservative talk 15 minutes uninterrupted. That t shirt is simply in support of my state.

    Rev,
Truth, is, I don’t own an iPod. But I
did hear Rush through DJ’s fillings…fortunately, the food arrived and the drug addict (Rushbo, not DJ), was silenced by the sounds of chewing.

  • OK, I see that I suck at HTML.
Jonco, how difficult would it be to have a “preview before posting” option?

  • Paul,
It would be nice but I don’t know how to do that. Or a way for you guys to go in and edit your posts… like I can do.

  • Gary

Paul, I share your antipathy concerning the “Gators”. Hate the Gators, Love the state. One of my all time favorite places is Cedar Key FL.

Just remembered this fishing trip from last year. My three sons, myself and two friends of the Capt.

  • (Another) Scott

    Paul,
I am just amazed that you appear to be around my age. I expected you to be a twentysomething. I guess I just thought all libs outgrew it by the time they reached 30 and got a dose of real life!

  • Scott

It’s great you all got together and had a good time.

  • bitscared

‘Buffy, Bambi, Beulah, Bertha, Bella, Bitsy and Ophelia’. BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

YAY for DJ back! You do all look like lovely guys and I am very jealous I can’t meet you all in person. I have several large hugs for you all!! Did Deej pass them on?

  • Did someone say Rush? One of my favourite bands.
DJ – keep paddling, I look forward to meeting you.

  • Diana

Who knew that Infi was a beautiful woman!
    Yowza.
