I love the Opryland Hotel. I went there for a conference in college or grad school. Interestingly, a group of us got into some mostly innocent what the cops like to call “trouble.” And a fine officer and manager with a “I’ll point at you over his shoulder” toughness told me to never show my face there again. Do you think they remember? I really would like to go back.
Maybe one of those plants is a duvekot?

Great site and as others have said, I like the pictures of your travels.
I attended many business conferences there over the years. One of the features you missed was the nightly choreographed fountain display. Set to music with lights and spray. Was put in long before the display at the Bellagio in Vegas.
Also, there is a great people watching circular bar that rotates once every hour.
Yeah, I forgot about the fountains with the lights and music. I’ve seen it before. And I remember someone playing a harp every hour or so too. I didn’t know anything about the revolving bar.
