Fork ‘n Film

Fns logoAs I mentioned the other night, while in Kansas City, we went to the movies and had an experience I’d never had before.  The AMC Studio 30 Cinema in Overland Park had converted a few of it’s theaters to Fork & Screen theaters.  I prefer to call them Fork ‘N Films.  :-)

CinemasuitesGuests of Fork & Screen® and Cinema Suites® are able to enjoy in-theatre dining combined with the most current movies and other exciting events presented in the immersive big-screen viewing environment of an AMC® theatre. Eight auditoriums feature the Fork & Screen experience, providing our guests the opportunity to order from a diverse menu of appetizers, entrees, desserts, and premium drinks, as well as traditional theatre concessions.

Pricing for the Fork & Screen experience is $10.00 Monday through Thursday all day and Friday, Saturday and Sunday before 4:00pm, and $15.00 Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays after 4:00pm. Fork & Screen guests will also receive a $5.00 voucher to be used toward their dining experience.

ForknfilmYou sit in these large comfortable recliners with electric powered footrests.  Staying awake could be a problem.

We saw the movie the Soloist.  I liked it… Jamie Fox might get some Oscar buzz for his work in the film.  I’m not sure it’s that good though.
