When they took the plane out of the Hudson they ended up having to detour through East Rutherford NJ. These roads were not made for planes.

Merkaptan, believe it or not, the wings were transported on the same rig, look at the video again, the wings are below the fusealage, in first class.
Even in this condition they could still make money with this thing, perhaps convert it into a motel and call it the Fuselodge.

That is a wrecker they use to tow 18 wheelers. Some that they tow are fully loaded so it is quite capable. The trailer is one that is used in industry and I imagine most airlines have the trailer for this purpose. Planes can breakdown under many conditions.
