Wow! “SS Poseidon” revisited! Pretty cool! Too bad it didn’t have audio.
I can’t believe it took that long to evacuate the area.
Am I a bad person because I was laughing my ass off?
I found that video absolutely hilarious!
They added 79.50 to their bill and described it as a thrill ride. Was it Carnival Cruise Lines?
[...] High seas hijinks [...]
Amazing. Must of been a heck of a storm.
Man, it does start so basic… just a little rocking. Then, right around 01:45, it just goes nuts.
It’s just amazing to see and makes me a little less likely to travel by boat
Big deal. It says right on the menu: Large ‘rolls’ and ‘tossed’ salad with every meal, or your entire party’s meal is on us … and you. We’ll even give your waiter a generous ‘tip’.
If you received the Captain’s Plate, please slide it back to him.
Lunch special: Sliders and a shake, and a complimentary turnover.
Due to the Pacemaker’s Club joining us on this cruise, ‘microwaves’ will not be in use during dinner.
We have one window, but everyone gets a window seat, eventually.
As Bugs Bunny would say: If it’s the Captain’s Mess, let him clean it up!
Forgot one:
I noticed the shakers rolling, but were the rolls shaking?
Hilarious, Scott. That was better than the video.
Sometimes I can’t stop…
If the rolls were shaking, did the bread-stick?
Please tell me that it wasn’t a tealight candle on the table nearest the camera..cos it sure looked like it got hotter after the tablecloth was thrown over it (before it ended up on the floor with everything else), although I couldn’t see any flames..
You forgot one, Scott!
“Hello, I’ll be your server this evening, Eileen! (I lean!)
We USN sailors secure for sea after leaving port for a reason.
Not something cruise ships do routinely, of course, but I suspect this ship will be a bit more thorough in securing heavy furniture to the deck from now on.
After the refit, of course.
that was too funny, its kinda like trying to walk when a person is fuc*ed up
“And I’m your crashier, Alby Fallon.”
Please enjoy your dinner and a move.
See? this is why my furniture is bolted down the floor
Ok, its starting to annoy me. Am I the only one that gets the autostarting video of the two cats on a treadmill when anything from this video-host site is posted?
(I’ve deleted caches and temporary files, but still.)
Browsing B&P has never been so annoying:-p
Look at that weird human-shaped furniture at 5:58 :p
to 538:
You’re not the only one. I am getting that too. It is *extremely* annoying. There are no controls on that stupid cat treadmill video. Usually if I reload it will stop. I think the problem is with break.com
538,
I’m not having a problem with anything auto-playing. What video are you referring to anyway? I can’t find a cat on a treadmill. Do you mean the man on the rolling treadmill? That’s a YouTube video and it’s not auto-playing for me. Besides it’s more than 20 posts down and shouldn’t even be viewable on the first B&P screen… which only displays 20 posts. If it’s another video, please let me know so I can look into it. I’ll fix it if I can,…. but again, I’m not having any trouble.
Other than that, Mrs. Van Meter, how was the Chicken Fricassee?
Jonco,
The video that autoplays is the one with two cats on a treadmill, however it shows up in the place of other videos! Like this one. On the main page instead of seeing the video of the ship, we see those two cats on a treadmill posted about a week ago. If I go to the comments page or reload the whole page it will usually stop.
I was having trouble getting the video to load.
The interesting thing about the video is that with the camera being mounted to the wall it appears as though everything is sliding around for no reason.
And someone PLEASE pick up that darn pepper grinder!
Ana, umm, that is not a pepper grinder. It fell out of someones pants.
Front or back??
