I was going by the picture when I typed that.
Why do they do that? Why only gas? Do they do it in other countries, or just US? What’s up with that?
They do it in Australia too. Petrol will be something like $149.9 cents a litre. I worked in a servo for a while, and never got a straight answer out of them as to why it happens that way.
^They do it ^ up here ^ too. You know, above the border. 99.9 a litre here now coz it’s cheaper than a Buck. Makes stupid people think they’re getting a deal. The cheapest it’s been in over 2 yrs. Approx. 4 litres to the gallon still doesn’t make it cheap.

Oh and damn diesel is still 2.99,oh well I won 300 dollars in free gas at a local radio station contest YEAH!!!! so I can ride free for a while
They also do it in the UK. It is an insult to the intelligence, but not as big an insult as “Buy one get one free” offered by some supermarkets! Only an idiot would be taken in by that, but there seem to be plenty of them around!
The fun thing is that no one noticed that the service station ‘manger’ did this..(see headline)
