  1. Wait…You mean they REBUILT a city that is below sea level, is prone to flooding because it’s surrounded by a big river, a big lake, and an ocean, and is in an area that gets hurricanes? They rebuilt it IN THE SAME FRIKKIN’ PLACE?

Who would be stupid enough to actually LIVE THERE?

    Naw, nobody would do THAT!

  3. DJ,
You have, obviously, never been to New Orleans. I want to say too bad, you really should visit, but your post makes you out to be such a RAVING LUNATIC ASSHOLE that I hope you never have the pleasure of visiting one of America’s treasures. STFU and pull the shades over your basement windows, you must be getting too much sun.

    Big,
Good luck to you and the rest of your neighbors, I wish you the best over the next week or so.
    Peace, Paul

  4. DJ,
Here’s a written test for you: in 27 words or less, tell us the difference between an ocean and a gulf. Extra points for including Tiger Woods.

  6. As a matter of fact, I have been to N.O…several times. Great people. Great food. Great city. Too bad about the location.

This should help you understand the difference (not much) between gulf and ocean…

(WIKIPEDIA:) “The Gulf of Mexico is an ocean basin largely surrounded by the North American continent and the island of Cuba. It is part of the Atlantic Ocean…”

(ANSWERS.COM DICTIONARY) “Part of the Atlantic Ocean bordered by the southeast coast of the United States and the east coast of Mexico.”

(COLUMBIA ENCYCLOPEDIA) “Arm of the Atlantic Ocean, c.700,000 sq mi, SE North America. ”

(AMERICAN HERITAGE DICTIONARY) “An arm of the Atlantic Ocean in southeast North America bordering on eastern Mexico, the southeast United States, and Cuba.”

Hope that helps…next time you’re there, taste the water in the gulf. You may want to glance at a map, also.

BTW, I don’t understand how you’ve connected all of this and Tiger Woods….please explain your reasoning.

  7. Gustav is coming but maybe it will miss the Big Easy this time, but maybe not?

I heard are illustrious head of F.E.M.A – Michael B. Chertoff say today ” New Orleans levees are safer today than pre-Katrina” NO SHIT Mike brilliant deduction, no wonder that King Bush appointed you.

I have been to the Easy a few times, liked it well some parts, but as usual it is a disaster waiting again. We all have read the history, but we are NOT going to solve it’s issues.

Batten down the hatches Gustav is on the way!
