One must be a great athlete to fail and not injure oneself.
It must be really disappointing… Top athletes training intensively for at least 2 years, and then… If they are there, it’s because they are good! Better luck next time
These gymnasts don’t train intensively for 2 years. Most of the Olympic gymnasts have probably been
training 16 to 40+ hours for the past 10 or more years. And all that training comes down to one moment.
I always think it’s a shame that after a routine, the sports reporters will focus and replay the mistakes and
bobbles. They should focus on what was done well.
I remember that vault.
It was set at the wrong height, and that’s why so many girls messed up their jumps. It was readjusted, and the girls got to jump again.
Glory for those who get a medal, sadness and frustration for those who don’t…
Just remember OG’s are not for everyone!
