If you overtake the last person, then you are…?
Answer: If you answered that you are second to last, then you are wrong again. Tell me, how can you overtake the LAST Person?

Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000 . Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000. Now add 10. What is the total?

The correct answer is actually 4100.

Okay, now the bonus round:
A mute person goes into a shop and wants to buy a toothbrush. By imitating the action of brushing his teeth he successfully expresses himself to the shopkeeper and! the purchase is done.

I get 5000 every time in my head. I get 4100 every time on the calc.
I’m gonna go stare at a wall and suck my thumb now.
What’s with the assumption that the reader’s getting all of them wrong?!

I got the 4100, for each new total I kept score I pronounced in my head the total is this manner: “four, one, zero, zero” instead of “forty one hundred” or “four thousand one hundred”
I also got the 4100 right. I just didn’t use English when calculating it
