Um.. why? I don’t recall ever having difficulty using a knife to extract peanut butter from the bottom of a standard single-lid jar. But then again, maybe I’m just gifted.
You don’t get it. This is for “natural” peanut butter that always separates the oil and
leaves a thick paste at the bottom. This way you can just flip the jar and let the oil mix
itself back in and have a nice consistency from top to bottom.

The rubber spatula works just fine.
Smashing the jar on the kitchen floor and picking the shards of glass out of the peanut butter has always worked fine for me
